So far... Excellent!!
UPDATE 12/07/25 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I purchased this 2-1/2 months ago. I wear it usually about 2 hours after a 2-1/2hr workout. For no other reason than posture (not a back sufferer). As I still spend a lot of time on the computer I have found that this has made a significant difference in my posture while sitting at my desk. Wearing it definitely stops the slouch. However when I am NOT wearing it, I've noticed that when I slouch, my body seems to tell me I'm uncomfortable and I find myself straightening my back while sitting. So for me, I've noticed I stand up straighter, walk more upright, sit more upright. I can't comment on other braces/posture correctors but I will say for me, this one is a blessing as it has resolved the slouching that I had become accustomed to. Also, after all this time, I've found it really easy to put on. It was a little awkward at first but I discovered that when I take it off, attaching the straps to various parts makes putting it on easier. I attach the 2 adjustable shoulder straps to the center spine section and the side straps to their respective belt pieces. I have not had any issues with tangling, not any issues of the straps fraying or breaking. Overall I'm thrilled with this purchase for it's cost, quality and more than anything else, it's ability to help correct my spine alignment so I sit up properly. ORIGINAL REVIEW ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have been working from home for years and I've long noticed I slouch all day at my computer. I've tried using extra pillows as lumbar support etc. I've also made a conscious effort to try and sit up straight but working on the computer all day, I often forget and find myself slouching again. I wish I'd found this back support 15 years ago!!!. When I considered this brace, I've tried lower back braces many times. Sure they work great if I'm standing up and walking around etc. but they just don't correct posture when sitting down. This device DOES!!!. I don't have a lower back problem so I was dubious if I needed the back support and maybe just buy the upper back posture corrector but decided I'd go with this combined device. I'm glad I did because the lower back support helps to solidify the upper posture corrector. I've been wearing this for 5 days now. I will admit, I ignored the instructions and have been wearing it 2 hours a day, sometimes twice a day. The difference is night and day. I find myself constantly recognizing my bad sitting posture and it's become almost automatic to sit up straight when NOT wearing it. What I really like is it doesn't cause any aches as a result of using it. Meaning... when not wearing it, I'm not getting any discomfort and wearing it, it's a snug fit and no discomfort also. There is one small issue... I read a lot of the reviews and I think everyone agrees that it can sometimes be frustrating trying to put it on. The velcro is everywhere and that means it's perfectly adjustable to YOUR comfort level. The issue however is that when you try to put it on, the darn velcro straps often end up stuck to some area of the brace and you find yourself struggling to find the strap behind your back. However, I have to say, I'll gladly accept that for the adjustability that the straps provide. I found a small workaround.. before putting it on, attach the back straps to a part of the brace that you can easily reach. So firstly, ensure that the back straps are not twisted, attach the shoulder velcro straps to the lower back brace area you can reach and then open up the brace and slip it on like you're putting on a shirt or jacket. Make sure the lower back brace is in a comfortable position and fit that first. Do not worry about the upper back straps... Once the lower back brace is snuggly in place then reach for the place you attached the upper back posture straps, unhook them and then pull those two straps down and then attach them at the sides or in front as is comfortable for you. Once you have a firm attachment, make sure the front shoulder straps are comfortable. You might have to lift them up/adjust them a little. Once those straps are comfortable against your clavicles reattach the upper back posture straps again, pulling them and you'll find this pulls your shoulders back and helps improve that posture alignment you're looking for. BTW, I have an old sports injury (broken clavicle) and the bone was separated so I have a knot in the bone. As a result I have to wear a special shoulder pad on my car's seat belt as the belt bites into the knot. I have the same problem with this but I solved it the second time I wore the device by simply finding a micro fiber cloth, folding it and putting that under the strap over the clavicle. I've had no problem with that shoulder since. I have noticed that I am sleeping better since wearing this. Someone suggested that because I was slouching all day, trying to lay flat when I sleep was likely causing a back ache which interrupted my sleep. Since wearing the device during the day (NOT at night of course) I'm finding my sleep is far better. So as I noted, wish I'd found this years ago. I wouldn't care if I wore it out and had to buy a new one every year... for what it's doing I'm thrilled with the purchase and also for what it cost I have to say, it's one of those things that deserves more than 5 stars. To reiterate I don't have back pain problems so I cannot say how it might help someone who has a lower back issue but if you notice you slouch all the time, as many of us do now working from home on computer so much, buy one and give this a try, I think you'll be pleased with the positive results. As always, I'll update my review in a month or so if there are any negative issues or I find something helpful to add to this review. Read more
