Having just played disc golf at a local place - we decided this would be a lot of fun in the yard at home. It's compact and portable - unlike most of these. Assembly was straight forward - but as noted there were no instructions in the box. The carrying bag is lightish duty but holds up well - and everything you need to play is included. The post and frame is quite heavy duty and the bright orange makes it every easy to see - but i did find the base to be a bit weak. It includes stakes to stake it down - and if you don't use them you'll likely end up damaging the base if it falls over. Overall this is a solid 4 stars for the money -- if the base was a little more durable i'd easily rate this 5 stars - but it's a great portable option as long as you plan to stake it down when using. This is a review for: "Disc Golf Basket Portable Heavy Duty 24 Chain Target with 6pcs Discs Carry Bag & Ground Stake Suitable for All Levels" This item is of good quality, stiff sturdy metal framing and very simple to assemble. It took me a good bit of time to unpack due to all the zip ties and closed cell foam tubing covers protecting everything which all fit nicely in a compact space. This is the second one of these I am reviewing since the first was damaged The golf stand includes the chain frame. Instructions, frisbee's of different colors in pairs and different edge styles, a flag and a storage bag, ground stakes and hardware. I did not even look at the instructions as assembly is self explanatory. After assembling the intact item which is simple: 1. place base on ground 2. screw in the pole with a threaded rod on both ends 3. place the lower basket over the stud on the pole 4. screw in the remaining pole 5. Unscrew the short piece at the top of the pole 6. lift the chain assembly and guide the pole through the lower two rings on the chains 7. put the top of the chain assembly on the top pole 8. screw in the cap piece that was removed 9. place the upper basket frame on the lower basket by lowering it over the whole stand aligning the three holes then install the provided washers, screws and wingnuts to secure it in place 10. install the flag pole with flag. 11. Optional, nail the stake loops to hold the base into the ground or place sand bags on the base I have a few complaints about this that are minor and are as follows... The flag pole is thick and has a rubber grommet inside the flat itself with a rubber o-ring holding the flag on the base of the flag on the pole however the flag material is very cheap and I will likely be getting some thicker material and sewing my own custom flag for it. The way you attach the upper basket ring using small screws and washers and wing nuts is poor. Thinking about this with portability in mind I feel there should have either been 3 pegs that drop into 3 loops OR three snap buckle style latches for simplicity. You will lose these screws and bolts. for photos I didn't bother I droppe three of the ground stakes through the holes. Even some small carabiner clips might work better. Lastly the base is a smaller diameter than the upper ring, That could have at least been the same if not slightly larger, on some ground it might not be steady and you can't always use the ground stakes. While the storage tote is nice I was not a fan of the long handles. I would have been much happier with some thick handles attaches right on the edge either side of the zipper like a laptop tote and had some clip rings for a longer strap. When I packed it up in the tote and went to carry it back to the garage I then realized the long handles were for shoulder carrying but I am short at 5'7" so it almost drug the ground and the handles don't have any adjustment. The actual included frisbee's are not traditional discs bought by golf players but are a cheap basic disc which is fine for at home play and kids but for more advanced players working on technique in their own yard with this youll want to use your own discs. A portable and home solution for the disc golf fan in your life, at a really great price! I got this for a friend who is madly in love with disc golf, to give him a way to practice at home (or even on the go when he goes camping. The quality is really good for the price, but of course these isn't going to be the quality you'd find at a disc golf range. The base isn't the most stable, so make sure you are on absolutely the flattest ground possible, so that it doesn't tip over. I'm not sure how it would do in the rain/snow if left out all of the time, so I'd recommend protecting it from the elements when not in use. If folds and collapses up super nicely to put away in it's included bag for storage or travel. Last to mention is the included discs, which are quite honestly, kinda bad, and warp/bend pretty easily. If you are giving this as a gift, I'd recommend including a decent set of discs to go along with it. This is a pretty fun setup overall, especially for casual backyard rounds or practice sessions. The top half of the basket feels solid and the chains catch well, which is honestly better than I expected for something this portable. Setup was quick and simple, and it’s light enough to toss in the car without hassle. It definitely hits the mark for convenience and playability if you’re just looking to get some reps in. That said, the base could use some help. Like a few others have mentioned, it’s not super stable on uneven or rocky ground. If you can’t stake it down, it’s easy for it to tip or bend, so I’m probably going to add some sandbags or even weld a little extra support. Also, a couple of the discs were warped right out of the bag, with one pretty banged up. Not a dealbreaker since you can always use your own discs, but worth knowing. For getting started or setting up a quick backyard target, it does the job, just with a few compromises. Read more

I was hopeful that this disc golf basket would be heavy duty and durable and I wasn't disappointed. The metal baskets, poles and chains are high quality and built to last. The chains are particularly impressive and remind me of what you would use to tow a car or put on tires for driving in the snow. The base may seem slightly underwhelming considering the heft of the other parts, but it is stable and doesn't budge when hit by a disc. In case there is an issue, the seller includes some stakes to hold it in place. The bag is lightweight so I purchased a better one and the discs are poor quality. As you can see in the pics, they warped under the pressure of the other parts in the packaging. I did not expect the discs or the bag to be high quality--the basket is what's important and it's excellent. One assembly note: be careful when installing the poles as I found it easy to strip the threads. If there's any pressure, back up and try again. Read more
