Like others have said the directions are off, but it can be figured out. A few days after we got it together the company (on their own) send out updated directions. Even though we had figured it out, I appreciate that the company took the time to send us the correct directions. As for the actual product it works great and the whole family is enjoying it. It's pretty sturdy and I appreciate that it folds away. We recently had a heatwave and this was a great way to keep somewhat active indoors. I would recommend this product just make sure you get the updated directions. Read more

Fun after putting it together. We will see how long it lasts. After the first use, a piece of the ball return net on the left side has broken. It is bigger than I thought it was going to be, but I like the size. excellent for grown folks. The balls and rims are a good size. It feels a bit wobbly after putting it together. Moves backward when playing. The screws stick out the back of the backboard so if you have it up against your wall those screws will scratch your wall. The ball return is so tight it is lifting the legs, where the play stands, off the floor. The backboard is cheap (pressed board), so be careful when assembling the associated parts. I assembled it alone and it took a long time. It would have taken much less time with a second person to hold some pieces. You'll keep having to take off piece 11, first to connect the ball return (one end of the loop was so tight tube 11 couldn't get through., I had to cut threads in order to open the end ) , then to put the side net on. For the game controller, the instructions say to run the cable inside the ball return loop that is on piece 11, however, the cable won't fit through there. I was able to put it together using the diagrams without reading the instructions. From another reviewer - this was true for me too: - Step 3 direction #5 tells you to use bolt #24 to connect tubes labeled 7 & 8 to the tubes labeled 2; the visual is labeled as bolt #26. In fact, neither seems correct, bolt 25 seems to fit best. - Step 4 direction #6 tells you to use bolt #24 to connect tubes labeled 2 to tubes labeled 12; bolt #25 seems to fit best. - Step 8 direction #13 tells you to use bolt #25 to mount the backboard; bolt #26 works here. I don’t know why everyone is complaining. I put this together rather easily. All of the hardware was labeled and for properly. We used it outside for a party, and kids and adults both were entertained. It did stay outside longer than we planned, and it got rained on. The backboard is a little water stained, but everything is still holding up. Even the electronics still work. We now have it set up in our game room. Sorry the pics aren’t of the whole thing. Tip: order extra balls! It doesn’t come with enough. Read more

Even after reading prior reviews, we thought “it cant be this bad”. Well, it really is. Not the quality - heck, these are probably all made in the same chinese factory. It is what it is. But the instructions and the parts. WOW! Our advice, (1) Buy another brand where the reviews indicate that the instructions and parts actually are adequate; (2) If you end up with this one, use the photos and do not read the instructions - it will go quicker; (3) Do not bother with the parts inventory (nuts, bolts, washers) as they do not matter. If you read the instructions, and use the parts listed, you will find that you are reversing course and taking nuts and bolts back out to place in the correct spots - as the instructions arent correct. (4) Do not tighten anything down until you are satisfied that it will go together adequately. Really - how hard would it be to get the instructions right! All that, and it took about an hour to put together. Should have been a 20 minute project - but nope, I read the instructions. Silly me. Read more
