Long before I decided to get this weighted vest, I'd been seeing people in my neighborhood using them. They seem to be the latest exercise "thing". A friend recommended this particular vest. It is comfortable and fits great. It's adjustable to a degree but be sure to look at the chart to match the correct size and weight to your frame. The chart said ten pounds was right for me, which seemed like nothing but I could tell the difference the minute I got out for my morning walk. It took a bit of effort to walk briskly with the extra weight, but not too much. I've worked up from one mile wearing the vest to four so far. The vest itself is very comfortable and well made. It fits close to the body and balances weight on chest, back and shoulders. Unlike the many backpacks I've used for hiking over the years, it doesn't rub in the wrong places or jostle around. I really like that it comes in different colors, some of which are bright so as to make you more visible to drivers if you're walking or running in busy neighborhoods. I bought the 15lb vest! I love it. It’s super comfortable, easy to adjust and put on, I’m a bigger girl and it fits just fine. I use it for my incline treadmill workout every day. Love it. Fits well i only wish the buckle was beneath my chest and not straight across it. Not really a noticeable smell from the product. This definitely levels up my workouts. This weighted vest is just great. It fits well, and does what it is supposed to do. I wear it when I work around the house doing my daily chores and it’s very comfortable. Helps me to stand up straight, which can be a problem as you get older. The only issue is ever since I’ve had it. The smell is still there. I have put it out in the sun. I was nervous to order this because of reviews that complained of a strong smell, but I’ve purchased other products from BAGAIL and been pleased with their quality so I took the risk. Zero smell at all when I opened the package, not even from the plastic wrapping, and obviously very well made. The weight is evenly distributed and well balanced and the vest itself is super comfortable. I especially like the little flaps that sit under the chest buckles to prevent any chafing. I wore it on a two mile walk this morning with no issues at all (other than the extra effort). I decided on the 15lb instead of the 12lb because it isn’t adjustable and I plan on getting more fit. HOLY MOLY! I'm a 60 year old women, 5'3" 135 pounds, in reasonably good shape and the 12lb vest kicked my butt! I didn't think it would make a big difference but it felt super heavy when I put it on and made my regular walk very challenging. I woke up the next morning and my body was sore! It's very comfortable, not bulky at all. I immediately thought i should return it for a lighter weight but I think I'll use it every other day to get used it to it. Read more
Love this walking vest! I’ve been walking almost everyday for 4-5 miles for a very long time so it just made sense to add the vest to make walks a little more difficult. After much consideration, I decided to go with the 12 pound. I knew I wouldn’t want lighter than the 12, but also was hesitant about going too heavy. Didn’t want to hurt my back! So far this vest has been great! It adds some challenge-especially up hills/inclines! It fits great, and is adjustable which I really like! It’s not bulky at all, and I liked that this particular vest only had one strap (adjustable) that goes across the chest.
