I got this backpack to take my dog on roadtrips and vet visits or just anytime she'd be in the car. Can't say how much I love this thing. It fits her stuff plus me and my partner's stuff for the road. It's not flimsy and feels like it will last a long time, as long as I don't go roll around on a mountain or something. Definitely more for visiting places with less intense terrain. I haven't tried otherwise, so I honestly can't really say. I appreciate that it has a poop bag side pocket dispenser as well. The color is lighter than in the pictures, but it's more of a practical buy and still looks pretty good, so if you're on the fence, I'd go ahead and get it. Read more

This bag is amazing, I've used it for 3 years now and it is super durable. We go on lots of road trips with our dog and this fits everything we need. I fit 6 cups of dog food, 4 towels, full-size water bowl, 2 water bottles, an extra leash and collar, his brush, 2 balls and many rolls of poop bags. Got this bag to aid with all the traveling we take our dogs on. Finally can keep all the doggies stuff in one place! Plenty of storage in a convenient backpack. Here's why I only gave 4 stars:there are other cuter fabric options from other brands, but they wouldn't have arrived in time for our trip. No dog food matt (other brands came with it), and the collapsible bowls have a plastic rim so they have to be hand washed. Of they were 100% silicon they could have been dishwasher safe. Read more

I recently took this on a road trip across 3 states with my cockapoo and this bag was a tremendous help. The fact that it is a backpack is awesome, it was great for lugging into and out of hotels. The food pouches were great, because I freaked over with her dog food and the other with her favorite treats. It had room for her toys and favorite stuffie as well. The dishes were perfect, easy and collapsible. I liked the caribeaner too, because when we were in the car, I'd clip it to my purse, so I'd have it at every rest stop. Read more
