Back in 2020 when we were all staying home a lot more than usual I decided to buy a couple of bathrobes. I got one big bulky one made out of high quality Turkish cotton (the kind that smells amazing when new) and liked it a lot, but it's very heavy...you wouldn't want wear it in warm weather. So I wanted a lightweight one for the warm weather we have here in LA and settled on this one. At first I wasn't used to the feel of this kind of material -- in comparison to a soft high quality Turkish cotton it can seem a little bit rough at first, but it really isn't. I got used to it quickly and it softened up a bit after a few washes in warm water. I've never felt the need to use a fabric softener on it. Anyway, the color (Blue) looks great and it fits me really well (I'm 6'2"). It's not as long as some very long ones like my big Turkish cotton robe, but it's long enough. And yes, it does dry really fast. You could wear this at a spa or around the house and look good doing it. Bottom line: i liked it so much I bought another one as a modestly priced gift to an old friend. PS it's held up through 2 years of occasional machine washes (once every 2-4 weeks) without damage. Now, if you spill your morning coffee on it of course you can stain it that way, but if you ever do you should be able to get the stain out by soaking the dirty area with plenty of liquid detergent before washing it. Bought for my father cause he wanted lightweight robe for warmer weather. 5'4" 230lbs. Bought XL-XXL size thinking it would be great. Arrived ok, good price. Waffle knit material I had hoped would be soft but wasn't. Wasn't itchy or rough though. Fit perfectly, length came to his shins, sleeves weren't too long or too short. Unfortunately, my father felt it fit a bit snug and wants next size up. Liked the robe. Read more
