This sea salt is a wonderful addition to my morning smoothies, as well as our everyday seasoning and cooking needs. A little goes a long way, so I suspect this small bag will be all I need for quite a while. It has a strong salty flavor. I know that seems obvious, but I have had other salts that did not excite me nearly as much. It is a little damp, but very clean and as I understand this is part of the harvesting process and nothing to worry about. I am considering getting a salt well for it, as I don't think it would do well in a shaker or grinder. For now I am just grabbing a small pinch out of the bag when needed. Given that salt is such a lovely ingredient in so many dishes, I am happy to have found a salt that still has a lot of the other nutrients that are often processed out. I have not been using it long enough to report on any improvements in my over all health that I could attribute to this product, but I believe that if you are going to use a product, might as well use one that provides as much as possible.
