I ordered these for my 10 year old, and she just kind of giggled at me and told me that these were cute but the style is more for much younger kids, my mistake. The fabric is medium weight and kind of ribbed textured, thin enough but not overly thin. The texture is kind of like a softer version of ribbed texture undershirts and feels soft and about the same kind of quality like them. These are very stretchy and a bit on the smaller size although the stretchiness made up for that. The sizing range is fairly wide. Coverage is very high, high waist and cut conservatively, with the frilly lace giving even more coverage.
