I wore this balaclava today while going on an hour long bicycle ride where the thermometer indicated the air temperature was at the freezing point. I started the ride with this face mask covering my nose and mouth. I would have preferred if the hat came down an inch further over my forehead as that spot complained of cold. When I stopped for a minute at a traffic light, my glasses fogged up. I pulled the opening down to my chin. That kept me comfortable for the rest of the ride. It fits well and is soft. Easy to put on and has a bit of a mesh-like material over the mouth. While it does add to the breathability of it, it still forces some warm air upward to come out of the eye area of the mask. If you're wearing glasses you should expect some fogging. Read more
