Farmer approved!!

The ski mask is made very well. The material is so soft and so fuzzy but it's not so fuzzy that it sheds. So you can wear it without the fuzzies getting in your hair. It is like a really nice fleece. The thing I appreciate a lot about it and my husband too is that the face mask has pieces on it that go behind your ear so you can put it on your ears and they are adjustable but it's all attached to the mask.. the size is perfect my husband and I have a different head shapes and different size heads like his is a little bit more normal size mine's kind of a little bit bigger especially with my hairstyle than I wear I always have my hair up in a bun and it fit perfect. It is made really really well there's nothing in it that has like a scratchy feeling on your skin. I've bought other ones where you can kind of get that itchiness from the seams on the face mask this doesn't do that. The stitching is really nice it's all straight nothing looks wonky. I I cannot tell you how amazing this ski mask is. We own a farm in a part of the country that gets lots of snow it's not uncommon for us to get six feet of snow during the winter time from one storm. We get lake effect snow with wind chills up to -35 or -40 degrees sometimes. My husband is outside all the time in the winter. I wore this a couple times and was a raving to my husband about how warm it was and comfy it was and stylish it was and the temperature got down so low that one morning he grabbed it, he hasn't given it back. He said the protection that he gets from it is unbelievable he's never had something like this before. I'm coming from a farmer that has to work outside he has to be outside in the cold to get the feed for the animals and to take out buckets of scrapings off of the floor in the barn and the skid steer that he uses to do that doesn't have it a cab that's in closed so having this to keep him warm is a game changer. He said out of all the years he's been farming which is basically his whole life more than 45 years he said that this is the only thing that's ever kept him warm in the winter time when the temperature gets extremely cold. He said that it was minus 28 with the wind chill he said usually he would be freezing cold and he was perfectly fine. He said he went into the milk house and took it off and was surprised that his face was warm and wasn't Frozen. You will not be disappointed if you buy this and you're looking for something warm you will absolutely be stunned at the quality the value for your money and the overall warmth that you got from it. Cold-Weather Comfort in this Toastily-Warm and Soft Fleece Headgear

A couple of hours ago I went outside to clear away as much as possible of a snow-covering sheet of ice from my front walkway leading to my porch, to make it safer for delivery drivers to use, and figured that would yield an excellent opportunity to test the degree to which I'd like this winter headwear. To say that I'm pleased as punch with it can't possibly be said strongly enough. It's about 30° F. here now where I live, in the midst of this polar vortex situation which has caused grief for many of us here in the US for more than a week now, with a slight but near-constant breeze whirling about... providing a very good test scenario for this item. I was outside for right at 20 minutes, doing somewhat exertive work of lightly bashing a sledgehammer down upon the layer of ice, then scraping the fragments away with a hoe... and this balaclava kept me completely warm from the top of my head down to my shoulders the entire time. While I wore a secondary cap atop it, I suspect that that was probably overkill, this apparel item is so warming. The fleece material of this balaclava is extremely soft and comfortable, and the drawstrings surrounding the area of the face opening make a simple task of modulating the amount of covering you may wish to have around it. In regards to how this headware fit upon me, I'm a tall fellow having what's probably on the lower end of what would be classified as a 'Large' body frame size, but the balaclava fit my head / neck area very well; it wasn't at all tight around my head, and the tube part of it around my neck didn't at all feel constricting. A few things which occurred while I was doing my task - having the area around my head which this item covered actually becoming a bit TOO warm, feeling the material around the neck tugging at me a smidgen when I did a test of turning my head far to the left and right, and having the covering area just above my eyes inching down slightly on occasion as I was bending and then standing back upright while doing my work - were all very easily resolved by making simple adjustments to how I had this fitting upon me. In addition, for those for whom this might be of particular importance, I feel this balaclava to be a smartly fashionable item which would be a welcome addition to most any winter wardrobe. SUMMARY: If you're shopping for a winter head and neck covering which will succeed in doing the job of keeping that area of your body warm, this offering should leave you feeling completely satisfied; I can't praise this KUKASEN balaclava strongly enough. It's plushly comfortable, fashionable, and - most importantly of all - succeeded wildly in keeping me toastily warm. This will be one of the easiest 5-star ratings I'll ever give an item upon this site... I'd give it somewhere in the range of 5.5 - 6 stars if I could. - - - ABOUT MY REVIEWS: My reviews address only the product itself; things such as items being lost or damaged during shipping or delivered in an untimely fashion aren't reflective of the item's quality, and thus won't be included as part of the grade I'll give something. My product evaluations and grades cover things such as overall product quality, the item matching the description given for it, the correct quantity for the item(s) being received, and product durability, as examples. It's important to note that the amount of time I'll take to research and learn about products varies tremendously between those items which I've PURCHASED, and those which I've gotten for FREE through the 'Vine Voice' program; for more information on these distinctions, visit my profile page for details. Warm and Comfy

There have been enough very cold and windy days to give this a test. It is a good item to have. It is not the thickest of balaclava, but it is most certainly not a thin item, either. It does block the wind and cold. Mind you, it is not a top option for mountain climbing exploration or to be out all day, every day, but it is a good, solid item. It is very soft, comfortable, and does not impede on your eyes when the hood is up. You can pull over the mouth portion over your nose. When you pull on the tightening cords, they each have their own little toggle doohickey to keep them into place, if you prefer a tighter fit. This one is a nice level of fluffy. I have had one, (that I had given to my son bc he works outside), that was thicker, but this one serves my lifestyle effectively, as I primarily go from the house, to work, and from the enormous work parking lot, into work, and that is it. I do not spend immense amounts of time out, in the cold. Also, it is spacious enough that it accommodates my bulky head-top bun. That is a definite benefit, because much of the time, my hair is pulled into a high ponytail or a high bun. There is no issue with this covering all my neck and face, without any tightness or feeling like it was lacking in material measurements. The style is in line with other items like this. The only real difference are the style or type of tightening string cord toggles. It is a nice color; does not seem faded and did not fade in the wash. I do not machine dry this item. I hang it.
