TL;DR: What I received is good for a child, dorm, or pet. Current listing is something different. Good: • This “chair” consists of two very heavy cushions connected such that they fold into a chair shape or can be laid out kind of like a bed. Included is an additional bolster type pillow which is not attached, plus another smaller pillow that is attached with loops and can be removed. There are zippers so that the cover can be removed for washing. • The pillows themselves are very heavy. They arrived vacuum sealed and flat, but once they sat out for a couple of days to reinflate, they are still very heavy and thick. • The fabric covering seems very thick and sturdy. It is a large ribbed corduroy like material that is soft and pleasant to touch. • My cats like it. Not so good: • Apparently the manufacturer changed this listing after sending out a few of these chairs. Now it is showing a full sofa, but that is not what I received. That seems pretty sketchy to me. One quick word of warning. This thing is a chemical factory. I noticed my fancy air purifier going into jet engine mode shortly after I opened this, and it kept doing that for hours afterwards. I have never seen it do that, in over a year of having it on all the time. I checked my air quality meter, and this thing definitely spiked the TVOC levels among other things. It's quite heavy, obviously. It's not the easiest thing to fold and unfold unless you have tons of room. When it first comes out of the bag, it will be extremely deflated, of course. It takes several days to inflate properly, no matter how much you shake it around (like the instructions tell you to do). One nice thing is that it doesn't shoot out like a rocket like a mattress will. As far as comfort goes, it's ok. The pillow is basically a brick, but it's shaped well for support. I don't usually like firm pillows, but the shape is nice enough that I don't mind it so much. It's more comfortable as a chair than it is as a bed. As a bed, it's too sectioned, I guess you could call it. The spaces between the cushions are rather noticeable when you're laying on it. As a chair, it's better, since it is folded up. Overall, it kind of feels like laying on a reasonably thick mattress topper that is split into sections. As a chair, it's quite nice for reading or TV watching, since it supports your back while you sit up. Value for money is decent enough. It's not overpriced, but it is just foam and fabric.
