It arrived this evening and I was pleasantly surprised. It's very nice. Good feel to the Faux Leather, seems to be well constructed. It looks just like the pictures in the listing. Room in the bottom for 2 pairs of shoes or for me an extra pair and/or my insulated pouch for my meds. Perfect size for a weekend trip... This lovely is nicer than expected. Looks like leather and I love the burnished brass-looking hardware. It certainly elevates the look and makes the bag more gender neutral. There are so many duffles out there but the selling feature for me was the bottom compartment. I wanted something smart looking for a 5 day trip to NYC in the summer. The bottom compartment is perfect for 2-3 pairs of sandals and a toiletry bag. The only odd thing is that the bottom compartment and straps are a matte vinyl. It doesn’t bother me but was unexpected. It provides a two-tone effect which is fine. Not sure how it will look in another color. I have it in black. The best part was even fully packed, it was lightweight for me to carry. I did not want to have a roller bag for this trip. The long strap looks well made and again, the hardware makes it. We will see if it fits under the airline seat but I would recommend this. Update*** I bought this bag in December 2020 and it performed well up until this last trip, given the soft nature of this bag I always use it as a carryon, I don’t think it would hold its own in check luggage. Now I still like this bag but the the points where the handles and d rings connect to the bag are starting to pull apart and leave large holes straight through. It’s something I expected to happen but not for another year at least. It still looks gorgeous and has maintained its structure and functionality well aside from those common failure points Since we do a lot of traveling for work and family stuff, I needed to get my guy and I really solid carry ons - and I was searching up and down for good quality bags that had SHOE COMPARTMENTS. Dude, if you have ever had to pack a carry on with all that you will need for 3-4 days, you will understand when I say, a shoe compartment separate from your clothes and toiletries is invaluable. I ended up deciding on this one for myself and was a bit worried as the price is so amazing. I took a chance and am so glad I did, it's a faux leather but seems real, is very strong, and is standing up to travel and overstuffing like a champ. It's roomy, with just enough pockets, if you are smart about how you pack things you can easily get all you need for 3-4 days of travel in here. Read more

This bag is a perfect classy travel bag. I got it to use to replace a small suitcase and was looking for something with the extra shoe compartment for a bachelorette trip I have coming up and it’s perfect! The color is exactly as pictured and it is a little hefty when it’s full but not to the point that would be difficult to carry.
