We recently bought the Barbie™ Soft Potty Training Seat with Storage Hook, and it has honestly made potty training a lot smoother in our house. The first thing my toddler noticed was the Barbie theme in pink and blue — she was immediately excited to use it. Anything that makes potty training feel fun is a win in my book! What I really appreciate as a parent: Soft Cushioned Seat: It’s padded and comfortable, so my child doesn’t complain about sitting on the “big toilet.” That alone has reduced resistance. Non-Slip Design: It stays securely in place on our toilet and doesn’t slide around, which makes it feel much safer. Built-in Handles: The side handles are a great feature. My toddler holds onto them while sitting, and it gives her extra confidence and stability. Splash Guard: Very helpful for keeping things clean — especially during the early learning phase. Storage Hook: Such a simple but smart addition. We hang it up when not in use, so it’s not just sitting on the floor. It’s lightweight, easy to wipe clean, and fits our standard toilet seat well. The only thing to check is that it fits your specific toilet shape (especially if you have an elongated bowl), but for us it worked perfectly. Overall, this is a cute, functional, and thoughtfully designed potty seat that makes the transition to the regular toilet feel less intimidating. Definitely recommend for any little Barbie fan starting their potty training journey! Read more

This is a review of the “Barbie™ Soft Potty Training Seat for Toilet with Storage Hook, Cushioned Non-Slip Potty Ring with Splash Guard, Built-in Handles for Toddlers, Pink & Blue Barbie Theme.” My toddler is starting to get interested in potty training, so we want a lot of options for her to try to see what works best. Out of the different styles of training potties we’ve tried, this one seems like it would work best for maybe older kids who know how to use the potty and can reach it with a step stool or on their own. However, the instructions say to always help your child on/off this seat, and I believe it’s because it will move around if not held in place for getting on/off. However, older kids may be able to navigate this better and may not be intimidated if it moves. Our toddler made it slide a bit as I was helping her on, and she got upset and hasn’t wanted to try it again. So we’re having to practice using it off the toilet first. Aside from the movement and on/off issue, it seems like a decent, inexpensive option for training or to make the toilet more accessible for tiny heinies. The plastic seems sturdy enough for little ones and the padding on the seat feels soft when you push down. The splash guard is nice, and there’s an option to remove the seat for easy cleaning. Though, I found it a bit difficult to unsnap the seat (it definitely requires a little force). The storage hook is probably nice if you have a bigger bathroom. Where our toilet sits, it’s a bit cramped to use, but it works. At less than $20 at the time of writing, I would say it’s a solid 4-star option. It works as expected with a few drawbacks. Read more

This Barbie soft potty training seat for the toilet almost fills the adult size toilet seat. As you could see, it’s a little bit smaller though a child will not care because it has the handles on each side to offer a little bit of security for them. This design feature is one of which is easy for the child to use and top quality for their grip. I showed both the top and the underside so you could see it clearly to make sure for hygiene you clean it properly. It appears as though cleaning should be quite easy with a cloth. As noted also is a small plastic hook that you could put on the back of your toilet tank so you could have it accessible when you need it. Again, that is a nice design feature. Having those features make this a desirable purchase. Read more
This is a great potty training seat option! It fits on any standard toilet. It is soft and comfortable for little ones to sit on, and safely rests on top of the toilet seat. The handles are nice and add another level of comfort for sitting. It comes with a storage hook as well, which is a nice feature. It is made out of high quality materials and is durable. The barbie theme is fun and is motivating for my toddler to use. It wipes down easily for convenient cleaning. At the time of this review, the price point is at $16 which is a great value! I highly recommend this potty training seat! Read more
My toddler was excited when she saw this cute training potty seat and wanted to try it right away. However, when placed on a plastic toilet seat, it tends to slide a bit if she moves. That made her feel uneasy, and she didn’t want to use it again after that. I think it would work better if there were some type of anti-slip material, like rubber or silicone, underneath to help keep it stable. I do like that it comes with a hook so you can hang it on the side of the toilet when not in use — that’s a convenient storage option. In my opinion, this may work better for slightly older toddlers who are more confident and stable when sitting. Read more
