I am writing this review for the Bare Botanics exfoliating towels. I have used them for a while now and I have many thoughts. For the purpose of exfoliation, this towel is very good. It is much better than a loofah or a regular washcloth. The nylon fibers are very strong and they do a good job of scrubbing all the dead skin from your body. After using it, my skin feels very smooth and clean, like I just came from a spa. The long length of the towel is a very big plus. It makes it very easy to wash your back, which is a place that is usually very hard to reach. I did not have to struggle and twist my arm to get to the middle of my back. This is the best feature of the product and it is why I will continue to use it. However, I must say this towel is not for everyone. The name says "heavy-duty" and it is not lying. The texture is very, very rough. For some people, this might be too much. My skin is not very sensitive, but even for me, it feels a little too aggressive sometimes. If you have sensitive skin, or if you have any cuts or skin conditions, I would not recommend this. It feels like you are scrubbing with a rope. It is good for the bottom of the feet and elbows, but for more delicate areas, you must be very careful not to press too hard. Also, I am not a big fan of the color. I received the mint color and it is a little bit strange. It is a very bright color and it does not match my bathroom. It would be better to have more choices for colors. This is a small thing, but it is something I thought about. This towel is fantastic. It exfoliates very well and the long length is a great help for washing the back. However, be aware that it is very rough and it might be too strong for sensitive skin. For the price, you get two towels, and they seem very durable so they will last a long time.
