These sheets are a nice mix of strong and soft, but not too soft. Being in a warmer climate, they have a nice medium balance of warmth without making me overheat in the middle of the night. The biggest plus for me is the deep corner pockets. I tried to get a picture of the underside with the corner lifted and added a mark of where the bottom edge/corner is to show how deep it goes under the mattress. I tend to move around a bit and often pull the corners of other sheets out, but these stay put. The corners are just as deep as the mattress protector I have on the mattress, which also has very deep corners. Out of the packaging, they smelled fresh and clean. I gave them a wash, but there was no manufacturing / dye odor or odor picked up from the packaging. My only complaint is the sizing of the pillow cases, which appear to be fitted for a Twin-size pillow and not standard Queen pillows. I feel like that is a miss on a Queen-sized set and I’m currently using my old pillowcases. It’s a sham as the fold-over full coverage of these pillow cases are a much nicer design and feel better, they just don’t fit. But the fitted sheet and top sheet are excellent. Read more
