I got my order (Feb 2, 2024) and I've noticed that the "leather" on the shaft looks prone to peeling with consistent wear. It's very soft on the inside, doesnt irritate my ankle, and is fairly flexible. I think the eventual peeling I suspect will happen is because it's so soft. Down the line I'll have to replace these boots for that, but I don't think I will have other complaints. The fit is good, there is space around my toes, the soles are thick and the heel is a good height. They feel like good city walking boots. I don't belong in the woods, so I can't tell you if these would be good for hiking, but I think a few hours around the city will be fine. Mine appear well made aside from the "leather" on the shaft. If I discover a hole somewhere or if some abnormality I didn't anticipate appears, I'll update my review. Otherwise I'm very happy with these. Read more

Good looking pair of boots. They are very noisy when walking. Heck, even just moving your foot they make a sound. Hoping they need broke in so for now I am still wearing them but it won’t be long before they end up at the back of the closet never to be worn again. Read more

The pegs holding the soles of the boots on poked through into my foot after two months. Avoid wasting your money. Also, the squeaking only got more annoying over time. Read more
