The old two bank shop light fixture we had hanging in our laundry room finally gave up the ghost and we were tired of buying replacement bulbs because they never seem to be in stock in a lot of hardware stores. This light seemed like a good, inexpensive option, and it really is. The difference in light level now is crazy. We didn't realize the light from the old fixture was so dim until we got this one up and plugged in. What a change! So much easier to spot small stains on clothing now, and this light really lit up the dusty corners of the room. Whoops. Light was a cinch to install with two people. It's not heavy or complicated to where one person couldn't do it, but with two it was easier to get the light level There's no flicker or hum from the LEDs, it doesn't put out any heat, and the light is a clean, daylight white with no yellow tones. Eachly is real bright. They have pull chains no switches. You can daisy chain them all together. Attaching multiple lights to each other to one electrical socket which is nice. I think they're a nice light so far I've only had them for a week. Super bright. I wanted to turn them all off at once without unplugging the cord or going to every pull chain. So bought a clapper device and I ripped off the round ground prong on the bottom so it fit in. Read more

These LED shop lights are very bright and narrow in width. For the money they provide a lot of value and my garage is as bright as day light. They are relatively easy to install and come with the hardware required (but low quality screws). Note that these come with a 5 ft cord to be plugged into an outlet or each other for stringing them. They are not designed to be hardwired into a ceiling electrical box. I had to convert my ceiling boxes to outlets to be able to plug them in. Not a big deal for me, but you should be aware. There also seems to be no easy way to get into these lights to change the wiring. They are pretty much sealed. So assume you have to plug them into an outlet. Also, for LEDs they get surprisingly hot. They have aluminum heat dissipation fins on the top side, and they need airflow around them. I had planned to screw them flat against the ceiling, but determined that was not a good idea, once I saw the cooling fins. I ended up using the provided hooks to suspend them at least a few inches below the ceiling. They do have two keyhole slots on the top for mounting directly onto the ceiling, but I would advise against that. If these two limitations don’t matter to you, I think these LED shop lights are an inexpensive solution to provide your garage, barn or workshop with bright light. Read more

I bought one to try it out. Now I've ordered 4 more because I was surprised at how much I liked them. It's much, much brighter than one of my old 2-light fluorescent shop lights. It's also really light, and slim, and attractive. I like the chain to be able to turn on and off when I only need specific lighting in a part of the garage. Read more

This light is great! I like the aluminum channeled "backbone" on the light. It is also super bright. It's very lightweight too. Super easy to hang up in my utility room, and WOW the light output is fantastic! I highly recommend this light for the light brightness, how lightweight it is, and it's very sturdy aluminum spine!
