I've been wanting one of these for a while now. I've always carried jump starters in my car, and while they're not needed very often, they've proven to be invaluable when you do need one. However, the older ones with lead acid batteries are large and heavy, and the batteries don't last more than a few years. I've seen these jump starters around for a while but was skeptical something that small could start a car engine, but when I started to see costco carrying them I figured they were legit. Unfortunately, I have no practical way of testing this. I really don't want to discharge the battery in either of our vehicles, and even if I did, both of ours prevent running down the battery by automatically turning lights, accessories and usb ports off well before the battery gets too low to start the vehicle. So, I can't think of any way to objectively evaluate this, short of having a car with a dead battery. I did test the power bank function, and it charged my wife's phone in "fast charging" mode. That can be a lifesaver, as long as you have a charging cord with you (keep an extra in the car). The display shows both the total battery percentage remaining, and how much current your device is drawing. Couple of minor nits. First, the instruction manual is nearly useless and printed in such a tiny font that you pretty much need a magnifying glass to read it. No instructions on how to operate the light (long press to turn it on/off, short press to cycle through steady/blinking modes). You also have to press the button to turn the unit on to use the power bank function. Second, at this price point some sort of case should be included, even if it's only a fabric drawstring pouch. Third, the USB C port is only for charging the unit. You can only charge your phones via the two USB A ports, not from the USB C port. If you want to charge your phone from this and don't have a A to C cable or an A to C adapter, you're out of luck. How much harder would it have been to allow the USB C port to function as both power in and out? Fourth, the markings on the ports are printed in light gray. On a black case. Virtually unreadable. Would it have been that hard to use white ink? Overall, these are minor issues. I'm just going to take it on faith that this will do its job when I need it someday. Read more

It is lightweight, compact in structure and easy to store in the trunk or under the seats. For its size, its functions are very powerful. It can start my vehicle without any problem. It worked perfectly on the first attempt and relieved me of the pressure of a dead battery. It is very easy to use, even for beginners like me. The LED display is very convenient and can accurately show the remaining battery power. I also like that it can serve as a portable power source. The 30W fast charging is a good bonus for charging my phone or other devices. The built-in flashlight is also great, bright and suitable for emergency use at night. It can supply power for several weeks and is very useful if you don't use it frequently. I feel at ease driving with it. Read more
