Great for the lunch box! These are good, sturdy stainless steel water bottle, as opposed to the fast failing plastic ones, so I got a few of these for my basketball crazy kids. Since they have different stickers in the package, I should be able to tell whose is whose, but I can’t, so I used a Dremel tool to etch their initials onto the bottom as a cheat! Works perfectly! The bottles are hand wash only, which is why the stickers can stay on for a few washings before they need to be scraped off with a brush and new stickers applied. Plenty of basketball stickers are included (if you only let them put on three or four at a time) and the print on the bottle is holding up pretty well. This stainless steel water bottle for boys is a cute and fun gift for the young basketball enthusiast in your life. I say young because the stickers, while cute and well crafted, are obviously geared towards a much younger crowd. I can't imagine a teen being excited by or even using this. However, for my 8 year old nephew, it is perfect. It is a food grade bottle made of stainless steel, so I don't have to worry about quality. It does keep items cold, though we have not tested it with hot items yet. The exterior does not sweat, helping the stickers to adhere a little better, though they will not stay on if you wash it under water. You have to be super careful when washing it so stickers don't come off. The good news is there is a LOT of stickers, more than he could reasonably place so there are replacements (if he desires and likes them). The bottle has a handle that makes it easy to carry, and a bit of texture that keeps it easy to grip. It has a lid and straw, and comes with a brush for cleaning the straw. May be too early to tell, but it seems like it will be pretty durable (just keep those stickers dry!). Overall a nice, quality water bottle. Read more
Very happy with this water bottle! I was surprised by how high-quality it is and my son loves it. The bottle is metal with plenty of insulation, it keeps his water cold and ice frozen for the entire practice. The lid is great, the sipper opens and closes smoothly, and the straw is nice and durable. It’s a standard size water bottle, not unusual big or small. My son loves the design on the bottle and also the color. The orange is great for spotting your bottle in a sea of other players water bottles or on the grass. He also loves that it came with a ton of vinyl stickers. I mean, a ton! These are great, high-quality vinyl made to go on water bottles. The original photo I saw of this didn't include the water bottle, so it was a surprise to see it with the stickers. The stickers look great and the pack was big enough that I can plan to divide it in half and have plenty for both sets of teams we're coaching and/or playing on to have multiple per player. This insulated Stainless Steel Basketball Water Bottle is Excellent! I love the size, it fits my hand nicely. So many water bottles these days have a very large diameter and are not so comfortable in my hand. The capacity of this is perfect it holds 2 cups with a couple inched of space just above the shoulder to the lip. I feel like it will be ideal for lunches, or any time you need to carry a beverage or soup with you to-go. I tested it to see how well it keeps things warm. I put water 150° in the bottle and then used my thermometer to see how well it held. it was 135° after 4 hours, 123° after 6 hours and 112° after 8 hours. This was test was performed inside at house at 68°. Then I put ice water in it (more water than ice) , after 4 hours, I could still here ice in it, then overnight to morning, the ice was gone and the water was 43°. Read more
