The matte black metal has a durable feel and gives it a sophisticated look. The clear glass shades are a really nice feature. While the product description states they are 'square,' they are definitely round. What's even more interesting is that they have subtle vertical grooves that become visible and add a lovely texture when the right bulbs are used and in certain lighting conditions. This is a detail that adds a touch of elegance and character that you might not fully appreciate just from the description. I appreciate the versatility of being able to install this light fixture with the lights facing up or down, allowing for different lighting effects. It seems like it would be suitable for various spaces beyond just bathrooms, like bedrooms or entryways. Ease of Installation: This is straightforward thanks to the included hardware and clear instructions. The open-bottom design of the shades will also make it easy to change the E26 bulbs when needed. Value for the Money: The light itself is good quality, I dont recall ceramic sockets, however, but that's not unusual. My guess is buyers will compare shops. As I see a lot of lights, I like the glass, the metal construction, the style, and the fact I have E26 compatible sockets, ensuring I have bulb options and that I can change them when needed. Overall, this is a well-made and attractive vanity light. The matte black finish and the subtly grooved round glass shades give it a modern yet classic appeal. Just be aware that the description incorrectly identifies the shade shape – they are definitely round. Its a good looking light, however one of the fixtures on the end has a little sag in it. Just barely noticeable, but still. I ended up making a shim for it. Not sure if i got lucky with a dud or if thats how they all are. Just a heads up Read more

The style of this light fixture was what we wanted for our bathroom remodel, however, the broken light bulb sockets were not. We exchanged the original fixture for an exact replacement which was super easy and the replacement came within 2 days. However… our replacement had more broken bulb sockets. We decided to keep it and fix it ourselves because there were only 2 broken ones instead of 4, but still disappointing and at that point we were ready to just get our lights back up and functioning. My husband is installing this light fixture as I type this but I can already tell that I love these lights! The 2-light model is perfect for smaller bathrooms (we're putting them in a powder room). The chrome matches my faucet perfectly and they give off plenty of light. We haven't tried it, but it appears the lights can be installed either upwards or down. I like the versatility.
