I have a 2008 Audi A4 2.0 Quattro and the battery has been dying quickly in the cold weather in WA state. Probably should replace the battery soon but I work remotely so really don't drive much except for shuttling the kids to basketball, volleyball practice, etc. I hadn't had a chance to try it out till today and car battery was dead and wouldn't turn over. I had charged this jump starter to 100% and hooked it up, let it sit for 20 seconds and tried to start the car and BAM! It started instantly and only used 1% of the portable battery (now down to 99% charge on the portable battery). We also have a GMC Yukon Diesel 8L that I'm curious to try on sometime but that battery is fine so haven't needed to. If I do try that sometime I'll update my review but for a smaller car it worked awesome! This jump box is great! I have alot of aftermarket lights on my car. When I go to car shows and get ready to leave, my battery is dead. Issue I need to fix , I k ow. But it's so simple to use. I let the lady down the street use it. All I gave her was the simple instructions and she jumped her own car off. It was strong enough to jump an antique Cadillac at a car show too. It worked for a few times on small jumps like a ski boat but for more demanding jumps like a suburban with a dead battery I think it shorted it out. I will not start my RV with a diesel engine with a low battery. Now the jumper box does a rapid drain after being at 100% to like 65% after 1 attemp to jump a battery.
