I have a strong issue of sensitivities with scents and what goes on my skin, so I must be very careful. Having recently found The Man Brand and its Bay Rum Beard Oil I discovered that my skin and scent sensitivities were not bothered. Therefore, in order to compliment the oil I decided to try the beard balm and cologne, having the leg up on being able to trust I could add them to my skin. I come away thrilled with this cologne. Having never used a solid cologne before I also was not sure how it would be on my skin, but so far have not had a single issue. And the additional smell has not increased the level or intensity of the scent and continues to not be an issue for me. It is stored in a great little tin box, easily carried in your pocket and taken out anytime for a refresher. Using your fingernail you'll scoop a little bit out, rub it onto the opposite wrist, then rub wrists together. It's easy on and like the beard balm and oil, is not oily. There is no residue. What I like about this hard cologne version is that unlike the spray type, you can easily control where on your skin you can place it. The lack of an airborne spray also means it doesn't bother my sinuses. The scent of Bay Rum is light, fresh, and still a masculine strength and attractiveness. My wife loves it on me and wanted me to get the add-ons even more than I. In the end I am thrilled and grateful to have a way to maintain the health of my beard while also allowing myself to smell good, fresh, and clean.
