I take notes every day on yellow pads as I sit with clients. I have issues with my hands that can lead muscle cramps and inability to write, so I've become very particular with my pens and now with this writing pad. I only found this pad about 6 months ago, and since then it's become my go-to. I use a gel pen (uniball signo 207) and it works great. Some past review said that the pad didn't work unless you use ball-point pens - I don't know if that pad has changed since that review was written, but it's certainly not true now (I can't speak to writing in pencil). The pad does have a smoother texture than other pads I've used, but it doesn't smear, and the smooth texture is the thing I like about this pad. Read more

This is definitely a cheaply-made notepad. Non-ballpoint pens don't work on it. And pencil will smear all over the paper. I would not recommend this writing pad to anyone unless you plan on only using ballpoint pens. Read more

The title and description of this item suggest that you will be receiving 50 pads (the weight listed as 20 pounds certainly indicates that). Instead, I received a single pad. Fortunately, Customer service were very understanding and arranged a refund, but be warned that you likely won't receive what you ordered. Read more
