I ordered this cervical pillow since I recently started experiencing neck pains, especially in the mornings. Although it took a couple of nights to get used to it, I have noticed a difference in my sleep quality and comfort. The ergonomic design provides excellent support for the neck. By keeping my head aligned with my spine, it helps reduce morning stiffness and tension… especially after long days of sitting at a desk. I tested this pillow over several nights of sleep and found that it just didn't work well enough for me. The memory foam was somewhat firm but also very flat. I like the hole in the pillow which allows for side sleeping, and I like how the cover is removable for easy cleaning. This pillow is certainly worth a try if you are a side sleeper. Read more
I really struggle with sleep and this pillow was a great solution. Let's hop right into the pros and cons. Pros: - As I said I struggle with sleep and also keeping my cpap mask on my face throughout the night, this pillow strangely allowed me to keep my mask on and stay asleep. - The design helps my neck feel better and it has these little bumps in the neck area that feel nice. - It has a nice button in the middle that keeps the case in place. - I found that I could sleep on my back or my side with this pillow due to the thickness and design. - The material of both the pillow and the cover is soft and comfortable. The cover is a stretchy material that seems like it will last over time. Cons: - None at all. I can't believe the difference this pillow made in my sleep quality and how rested I felt the next day. Id been wanting to get one of these pillows for a while because I'm a side sleeper and often wake up with a stiff or kinked neck. The pillow itself is nice and well constructed. The materials are of good quality. The case is soft, silky and breathable with a good zipper that glides easily. The shape and height seems right for my head, neck and shoulders. I could go a little smaller but works fine in sizing. The foam is strong and supportive and the sides were well placed. However, the foam for me is too firm. My head doesn't sink in comfortably instead it sits on top of it all night and after a while it felt like a rock and I'd get headaches. I had the headache all day and couldn't bear to go another night using it. Being on my side made my neck hurt on which ever side I was on. The pains switched all night on whichever side I was on. I had my adult daughter try it and it was uncomfortable for her and began to make her neck hurt as well. She couldn't get comfortable on it enough to fall asleep. Its a nice pillow and I'm sure it will work for some but disappointedly it did not for me. I need something more billowy. It comes with a helpful information pamphlet with instructions and maintenance. I did not detect a smell but I also have allergies. I may continue to try it and will update if anything changes. The order came super fast - a short next day. As fate had it, just as I was about to take a power nap before we went out to dinner with friends, a package came. It was the pillow. I quickly took it out to try out. After trying out all postures, I took it for a trial spin. It took probably no more than 5 minutes before I fell sound asleep (as told by my wife). I thought it was going to be just a “close your eyes” kind of power nap but it actually became a “coma” one. That’s your testimonial! It’s made of memory foam. When lying on the back, the top and bottom part of the pillow is formed to meet the contour of your neck, at a slightly different height, leaving the arch of the neck fully supported. That’s important! When turning your head sideway, the slightly elevated curvature of the two sides of the pillow gently hugs your cheek. It offers good side support and the softness feels good too. I thought it would take me some time to adjust to the new pillow from the one that I had for over 10 years, but it took me no time at all. The new one easily wins me over and for good.
