I gave this to my grandson for Christmas and he was excited to have his own mat so he could do yoga with his mom and not be literally under her while she did the various poses. The pandas are adorable and make it just a bit more fun for a 2 yr old. The size is nice for a child and will grow with him. The smell wasn't off-putting, but a little spray with an good essential oil and it will be good to go! Read more

I'm giving this mat only three stars because they sent me the wrong color. I was sent Grape when I ordered Purple Gradient. I'm disappointed because I really preferred the look of the graduated color, but don't feel like going through the hassle of shipping it back and reordering and waiting for the right mat to arrive. Now that I've got the negative aspect of my experience out of the way, the mat itself is very nice, much thicker than my previous mats, and even has a pleasant odor, not that gross, chemical rubber smell. If they had shipped the mat in the color/pattern I actually ordered, I would have given this product 5 stars. Read more
