This is a really good, powerful cordless blender. I always shied away from them because they usually aren't that powerful and I don't understand why the manufacturers think I want to drink with the base attached. While this one's instructions show you leave the base on, I don't. I simply blend with the carry lid on, turn upside down when I'm finished and remove base, then screw the storage lid to the bottom. Violà, no having to hold a heavy motor while I drink. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because for the life of me I can't understand why whoever designed it thought it was a good idea to make the inside of the blender jar textured like the outside. This machine is extremely pricey and doesn’t work most of the time. If it’s just liquids it will work but if u have fruit or ice or powder in it it doesn’t work at all and I have followed measurements and different types of things and still does not work.
