I have had these for a few months and they are pretty comfortable. The toe box is wide, so my feet slide around a bit which is actually giving me callouses on my toes. I put an insole in the shoe that fixed the issue. They are a bit creased and look a bit worn but are still fire and fashionable. If you are looking for a chunky sole, look no further. These are perfect. The black cowhide leather is so shiny. The stitching is well placed. The inside material is a plush velvety feel. The sides are firm, it's going to take a bit of wear to loosen up but that makes for a good strong shoe. Absolutely love the thickness of the sole and the heel height. This takes the standard classic oxford look and dresses it up even more. It's the look you are going for if you are wearing baggy cargo pants, bell bottoms, leg warmers or even a skirt with tights. These look good enough for everyday use and would also set off a Halloween dress up outfit as well. Arrived fairly quickly in a beautiful black box with red interior (keeping that!). Each shoe is also encased in its own felt bag for safe storage and travel. These shoes have a modern, stylishly chunky look. They arrive nicely packaged with each shoe in a cloth bag to prevent scuffs. In terms of sizing, the length is as expected, but if you prefer to wear thicker socks you might find the width a little narrow. Speaking of needing thicker socks, I found the edge of the leather tongue to be a bit sharp, which in my case does necessitate wearing thick socks to prevent rubbing.
