This is a good quality blanket. It may be considered light weight, but it isn’t thin. It looks and feels substantial. I expect it will withstand years of regular use. I purchased the beige blanket. Its closer to camel in my opinion and this is apparent from the online image; however, the color is beautiful, more vibrant than it appears online. As has been mentioned in other reviews, the initial laundering left quite a bit of lint in the washer and dryer so I’d recommend not putting other articles in the machine with the blanket for the first few washes. Also, there was some shrinkage, but not excessive. I ordered the king size for my queen bed and it’s a great fit. I’m very satisfied. Read more
First off, be acutely aware that you MUST wash and dry this blanket a few times before using it. The amount of fluff that comes off of it is enough to weave a new blanket. Once you're past the shedding, it's a nice blanket. The weight is just right. Not the softest, though, but that's ok as I have it sandwiched between the sheet and my top comforter. Read more
Nice quality blanket. However, it shrunk more than I had expected after its first wash. It still fits my queen size bed okay, but the sides definitely do not hang as much over the mattress. Read more
I love love love this thermal blanket. I didn't have high expectations because the price was so good but the quality is amazing. The only negative is that after the first wash the blanket shedded a lot in the washer and dryer. I washed it with the new sheets and little fuzzy fibers were all over the navy sheets. But I love the waffle texture for both the look and the feel. It provides warmth without being too much. Very impressed. Read more
I was in the market for a queen size cotton blanket and didn’t want to spend a lot of money. I started looking at a national chain Bed and Bath store and I was Beyond surprised at the prices. Next I came to Amazon and found several options in the $20ish to $30ish price range. I saved my choices intending to make a decision later. When I revisited my choices this blanket had dropped in price. The reviews for this blanket compared favorably with my other choices, so I made my decision to purchase based on reviews and price. I’d read in one of the reviews that cotton blankets imported from Asia are frequently treated with formaldehyde to prevent mold and mildew while in storage and should be laundered prior to use. Because of that warning the first thing I did when I received the blanket was to machine wash and dry it (HE detergent, cool water, longest wash cycle, extra rinse, gentle dry to avoid TOO MUCH shrinkage). There was some lint left in washer at the end of the wash cycle and the dryer’s lint filter was packed full when the blanket finished drying. I hadn’t really inspected the blanket prior to washing, I just noticed that it seemed appropriately heavy in weight for what it was and there was no obvious odor. It wasn’t until after the blanket came out of the the dryer that I really looked at it. It washed beautifully, the color was consistent, the weave was even and without runs, and it had a nice soft hand. I was happy enough with it that I ordered a second one in a different size and color for another bed. Read more

Soooooo much lint came off of this blanket. I washed it twice and the lint just kept coming. I am returning as the lint gets on the other bedding, clothes, rug, etc... Item looks like it's 10 years old after washing twice. Read more

Terrible to launder. It's hard on the washing machine and dryer. Fuzz everywhere. Be sure to clean the lint filter. Read more
