These worked AMAZING for building my own bed frame. Needed to build a bed frame for our son as we didn't want to buy one that would delaminate or fall apart after moving a single time. These made assembly very easy and the build is SOLID. The only bed frame we have made so far but hands down the most solid frame in the house! Very happy with the quality and durability of these. There are no spare screws with this set so hope you don’t get a wonky screw head There’s another reviewer that did a great job of explaining how to install these - with photos. While his instructions are great they aren’t fool proof so I did have to take some of mine out and adjust.. BUT his are still the best instructions for installing. Once you get it right, the bed is very sturdy! These are also great for those of you who might move a lot and need a quick/ easy disassembly (PCSing or govt workers with similar change in duty stations might appreciate that). Minus one star for not providing one or two spare screws which is the norm these days. Read more

Although these didn't work for me, they are very sturdy and strong. I did attach all 4 of them to the bed I was building, then realized I had no way to also attach feet to my bed. I either had to re-think the feet, or get rid of the brackets -- and I ended up getting rid of the brackets. Installation is easy but you have to think through your placement carefully. If your sideboards are upholstered (mine were), keep in mind you may end up screwing them in through fabric, and your fabric may pull or get wound around the screws. I suggest cutting a slit for your screws, or upholster in a way that doesn't interfere with the placement of these brackets. The big screws on the face of the brackets make it easy to slide your panels together, then tighten the screws for a strong hold. Read more

These brackets are nicely made, but not as thick as the thickest ones available (2mm rather than 3mm). The hooks easily fit together, but if you're looking for a very tight joint, these aren't the ones for you. They're forgiving in the sense that if you're not a very exacting carpenter and have some tolerance issues these will still work. They're worth a try, but know what you're buying. Read more

They will hold your bed together! I reverse the orientation of the pieces so that the head/foot board has the pins and the rails have the hooks. They will work either way but I thought that assembly and disassembly would be easier in the mentioned orientation. I build two bed frames out of pine with these brackets and found them to be most satisfactory. Read more
