I have a boy and a girl, so it was perfect to give them each two colors. These are great for bringing the kids all over and having their water last!! I send my son to school with his and it works great. The only thing that I don't like is the handle straps all broke off within a week. You also have to be careful on the lids in the dishwasher. The trick for me is to put them on the lower rack on top of the folded down rack spikes. If the lid does get ripped off, it still works great. Overall, we love these!! My kids enjoy this type of water bottle. I can’t complain since the price of these are well under the price of metal/higher end water bottles. We weren't expecting a lot but these are very cheaply made. They're thin and the lids don't line up well. They do work, but they don't last long. I would not recommend putting them in a dishwasher. Read more

I purchased these for boys 6-18 who are members of a Trail Life troop. One problem I dealt with was difficulty in getting the lid to come off and go back on easily; the plastic piece attaching the cap to the bottle (a valued factor!) was so tight l had to stretch them sightly to get the cap to go on and rotate easier to prevent leakage around the cap. I added key chains and printed inserts to enable boys to quickly grab their *specific* bottles; it would be desirable for the company to provide an easy way to label them, as there are only 4 color options that would cause confusion in a troop larger than 4 boys. However, the bottles are a good size, easy to fill and use, and difficult to destroy--that's desirable! Trail Life boys spend a lot of time in the woods, in campgrounds, and in various competitions, so these bottles are adequately durable and in bright colors, making them easier to distinguish. Further, the the cost is reasonable for a small non-profit group. I'm likely to order again as troop size increases. Read more
