Let me start by saying this hub is very small--it's about 6 inches wide, a little over half an inch tall, and a little more than one inch deep. The power and host cable plug into one of the ends, so don't let the photo mislead you into thinking it will stand up. Both power and micro-usb cables are removable. There's no LEDs on it and the overall style is simple and tidy. As for cons, there's one big one that's a bummer--the power cord is only 3 feet long. Power isn't required for simple devices like mice and keyboard, but some gadgets such as USB harddrives won't work without it. The short cord means that you'll need a power outlet right by your desk and the hub will be kept on a very short leash. The AC adapter is 5V 4.0A, if you want to find a replacement. The adapter is also quite large, making the portability of the hub questionable. In a nutshell: it's a slick, small hub that really needs a smaller AC adapter with a longer cable. You'll be happy using it without the AC for your mouse or keyboard, but look for something else for your laptop bag or if you need it to be more than a couple feet from an outlet. Read more
A real quality product from Belkin - I bought one almost 10 years ago (2015) and it hasn't let me down. It's not as fast as today's USB 3.0 or USB-C but it gets the job done. And it's small enough to back in your laptop bag - just don't forget the powerbrick if you want to power things from this hub. Read more
This is a really small device, but I plugged all my USB cords side by side, and it works perfectly for all of them. It has no glaring lights shining all the time. It just simply works exactly as expected. Totally glad I bought this. Read more
