I really was a bit iffy on these, I wasn't sure on that form factor. However on sale I decided to try them out and I'm super super happy with them. They fit great, they sound decent, nothing amazing but totally serviceable. They are super compact and hide in your ear. I tested the mics and they sounded decent, canceled background noise fairly decently too. Overall a cool unique design that is pretty dang comfy. The only thing I'll say is I don't actually tuck them in my ears like the picture shows, they are just a tiny bit too long even without the attachments and i have them just resting in there, they hold in fine even with a head shake and are way more comfy this way. I got these on a whim, to round out my earbud collection with an in-ear earbud that doesn't require a stuffy eartip. I have always appreciated the ability to have a better sense of surroundings and the ability to hear and talk freely. The only problem with earbuds that don't have eartips is that they fall out!!! This pair remedies that problem through its design in which there is an earfin, which grips part of the ear. Soundwise, these earbuds deliver! EQ modes allow or a range of listening styles. Even the balanced mode sounds rich and full. All frequencies are very well represented, which is something very difficult for these types of earbuds to pull off. Finally, for the price, these are a no-brainer! Everyone who wants better sound quality that open-ear-design headphones, but don't want eartips should give these a try! I really wanted to love these. It’s the exact sort of buds I’ve been seeking. Seen the got me excited, but the execution feels like they chickened out when it was time to make key design decisions. I do still think if you’re looking for some buds that don’t jam into the ear canal these are worth the shot bc if the fit your ear I feel like they could be quite good (if they have multiple sizes in the fittings my experience would likely be a better one). It’s like they chickened out to add the extra couple mm that would actually make the buds for securely in the ear and then cheaped out on giving multiple size options for the ear fittings leaving these to be underwhelming. If you can’t commit to a more functional design because your goal is a wider customer base then you have to provide the fittings in various size options because the one fitting that is given to us is not enough and we all know Belkin won’t make an accessories pack of them to make. It’s mind boggling these were included for a set of buds that don’t suction in the ear canal. Now, to the compounding factor that makes that problem worse. The opening with the speaker should extend a little further for better sound quality, but the molded plastic should be altered for fit and sound quality. The diameter of that piece is sound large it stops the bud from being able to sit in the ear so the speaker is off on alignment and the sound is muddy. Idk for sure if this is why the bass boost eq setting just makes the sound muddier or if it really is how that eq function works in reality. Had high hopes, but ultimately a let down. Read more
