This is a terrific belt. As much as I wear it, look at it, and touch it, I would swear that it is made out of real leather instead of artificial. The belt is extremely supple and flexible, which is even hard to get in real leather belts these days, much less ones made from artificial leather. I ordered the black version of the belt. The black color is lustrous with a slight reflective shine, which highlights its excellent exterior embossed pebble pattern. The interior is tan in color and has a smooth fine grain just like split leather would have. The belt is high-quality and well constructed with even seams. A highlight of this belt is its heavy, solid metal, lustrous gold buckle along with three equally nice looking gold metal loops to secure the belt. And the tongue of the belt has an excellent gold metal cap which weighs the belt nicely in place at its end and really gives it a classy look. Note: On the product page, the belt end cap is shown in two versions, a solid version and one that just has metal around the edges of the belt end. I got the solid version, but the other version I think is equally attractive. The belt has a crisp stylish and classic look which insures that it will go with about anything I choose to wear from jeans and slacks, to belted skirts and dresses. It feels so comfortable and sits well on me. My waist is usually 35 inches, and based on the size chart on the product page I ordered the size Large which fits waist size 35 to 39 inches. When I wear the belt, the buckle fits best for me at about the middle of the belt holes. Based on this, I would suspect the belt runs a little bit small, so I am glad that I ordered the size Large instead of the size Medium which also theoretically should it fit me. Generally, I always order belts a bit larger because I can always punch extra holes to make them fit. But I can’t do that with a belt that turns out to be too small. I wear a size 0 in pants and ordered a small. It fits on the smallest hole, which works, but I wish there was an even smaller option so the extra length wasn’t so noticeable. The belt elevates any outfit, and I love the gold buckle detail and the textured finish. I was a little confused about the material—it’s listed as leather but also described as faux or synthetic, and when I received it, it’s definitely synthetic. Review: This is a nice basic belt that works with a lot of outfits. The black color and gold buckle give it a really clean classic look that can easily be dressed up or worn casually with jeans. The material feels sturdy but still flexible enough to be comfortable when wearing it all day. The buckle holds well and doesn’t feel loose and the belt holes give a good range for adjusting the fit. I absolutely LOVE this belt! It's perfect: soft and flexible, with beautiful gold hardware that isn't too much, and fits and wears like a dream. I've gone through several belts over time, and my struggle is usually that I like the design of the belt, but the leather is too stiff, or the belt is too long and has too much excess that I can't figure out what to do with, or I even have one belt that I truly love the look of but that has a scratchy interior that I'm always worried is going to ruin my clothes. This belt has ZERO issues. I couldn't be happier with it. I love the outer texture of the leather, and I also love that the interior texture is buttery smooth (no worries that it's going to scratch up my clothes!). The belt is so nice and soft and flexible, and it wraps just like it should -- there's no excess hanging or flapping around. I'm 5'6" and about 130 lbs and wear a small in most clothes, and I ordered the small in this belt and it fits perfectly. The gold buckle and detail are so classy-looking, and the belt arrives with a protective film over the hardware to prevent scratches. It isn't noisy or fussy in any way (sometimes hardware can clink around too much on a belt). I can't think of a single thing I don't love about this belt and I look forward to getting a lot of wear out of it, whether with work clothes or jeans/khakis/shorts -- it's a great staple piece that will work across a ton of different outfits.
