This was a great product to get started with our home gym. The cushioning is great especially since I do deadlifts and we placed this in the garage and there is no loud clanking noises or damage to the floor. The smell is that foam smell (which personally I love) but it faded quickly and it wasn’t overpowering like other products. I have found that the grip is great when using shoes, or even barefoot so there is 0 slipping even when you’re sweaty, and since I live in Florida (yayyy beach sand) this product is easy to vacuum and wipe and also dries quickly. I like the versatility of adjusting the mats to fit the space in whichever way I want and there is plenty of edges to make it smooth all the way around. 10/10 will recommend, will update this after 6 months to see how they have held up! These work well to protect the garage floor in a home gym. They do not smell weird and the pieces fit together well. They don’t seem to slip as long as you have something on top or you’re working out on it sitting or laying. Trying to jump or move on it without weighing it down with something else would not work well since it’s so light. It works well for the price to place weights and other small home gym equipment on. I would buy them again but if you’re looking for thick cushion this is not for you. Read more

Fine but not great. You could rip them with your hands. No knife required. They’re already scratched up from my cats, and I haven’t had them three days. I can’t put the edging on all sides as the area I’m using this is misshaped. This makes them detach more often. If it isn’t right from one wall to the next, setting anything with weight to it will separate them. I have a diaper cart on a section and it’s constantly coming loose. They help to protect carpet when I have foster puppies running around. For that use it’s fine. I only spent $60, but that seems substantial for the semi poor quality.
