It’s kind of weird - like a half seat for a seat. Can tilt and put your spine off center which is not good for the lumbar or other parts of your posture for that matter. But if you get it to sit just right, it could be somewhat helpful? Here’s the deal - it is being used on a Herman Miller Aeron chair for xtra padding as the seat mesh on that incredibly expensive chair doesn’t support the tailbone very well. The ergonomics of the HM chair don’t really air well with this pad - nor should a pad really be in needed in theory. So if you have a very basic office chair, this could be helpful. Don’t use for upscale high end chairs though. Read more
