I swear by this stuff. I work out and when I do dumbbell squats, it has the potential to be very painful for my knees...even with good form. But this has saved me. I definitely recommend proper rest and recovery, but this product eases that in-between time. It is a good quality product for the price because it actually works. I use this mainly for muscle soreness after physical activity, and this ultra-strength version definitely delivers noticeable warmth quickly. The cream absorbs well without leaving a greasy residue, which makes it easier to use before bed or during the day. Relief is temporary but effective, especially for stiff joints or overworked muscles. A little goes a long way. The biggest downside for me is the smell... very strong and lingers for a while. I genuinely love this stuff. As a runner who occasionally has aches and pains that seems to just pop up at the worst times, I always try to keep this on hand. I much prefer this to bio freeze as the crème texture is easier to apply and seems to be absorbed by my skin more readily than a gel consistency. I also think it works well for those annoying aches and pains that you need treated right away. I’m also just a big fan of the scent. To me, it reminds me of wintergreen - which I love - and I don’t find it overly strong or offensive at all.
