Ive used this 3 or 4 times now. The ice block is super convenient. Freezes fast and stays cold. Easy to wash and sturdy. Leak proof, seals good. Can fit a full adult meal. A little slippery and awkward to carry at times, but sleek if you have a bag for it. I bought it to avoid the lunch bag so a bit of a catch 22. My husband was complaining I was sending him too much food ha! Also, his lunch was not staying cold/cool in summer weather even with ice packs. He was tired of all the different containers and I was tired of washing 4 or 5 plastic food containers. This Bentgo Chill lunch box has been perfect! It has a removable ice pack that goes right under the food tray. The food compartments are just right size and hubby said it's plenty for what I send him for lunch. Bought these for the whole family for a trip to Yellowstone so we could carry lunches in our backpacks. The concept is great, and the size and ability to configure the compartments is great. The only drawback is the thing is surprisingly heavy with the ice pack inserted, and also can be pretty difficult to pry open with the ice pack inserted. Sometimes I have to jam a butter knife in there to get it out! Now that I use it for kids school lunchbox, I stopped using the ice pack and just slid the box inside a soft insulated lunch bag with an ice pack on the outside, or no ice pack (it stays at a pretty even temperature for the few hours at school in the morning). love this lunch bag—it’s the perfect size. I work eight to twelve hours a day and sometimes the Department I work in gets so busy that I don't have a chance to go to the cadeteria to eat. We just received this, and we love it! The color is really cute, easy to use and clean. It is perfect size for my 9th grade daughter. It seals well, and easy to open. It is durable, and I can tell we will be using this for next good couple of years. My favorite part is that it comes with ice pack you can insert on the bottom. You can use without it, so I will only be using the ice pack during the summer time, as it makes the box quite heavy with ice pack in it.
