While this can be a little clumsy to carry around, it does maintain temperature well. The white to black fade is pretty cool. I don't like the straw, it has an odd taste to it, even after washing multiple times. It has held up well against rolling around in the car and falling down a mountain. I just recently purchased this item and have no idea of its durability. That said it seems to be VERY well constructed and designed. I have used it three times and am more than happy to speak to its insulative properties. I coach Lacrosse and work out several time a week. My first usage was for a work out. I left the bottle with ice (about a quarter filled) and water in my car for nine hours while I was at work (this is written in July in Coastal Carolina - it has been warm). Not only was there ice for my work out - there was ice in the bottle the next morning. My second use came at a summer Lacrosse tournament in Virginia Beach. The base temperatures were in the upper 90's (Fahrenheit) with a "feels like" north of 105. I was out for six hours in that heat and was concerned that the black pouch would cause issues. I half filled the bottle with ice then added water. The only problem I ran into was that I ran out of water - the ice had barely melted! I filled the bottle twice. By the time I got home the bottle was still about a quarter filled with ice - and I had again run out of water. I'm so impressed by this water bottle that I have bought the largest size for tournament days and hiking with my dog. for work outs and practices this size is perfect. Read more

Insulation is great. Drinks stay cold loaded with ice until the following day. The problem is with the straws. No matter how you put them on we got no suction. We even tried cutting them down a little. Had to replace them with silicone ones. One lid also broke after being knocked over once. Cups are great and we love the straps/case. Lids and straws not so much. Read more
