I had a clock with a blue rim that I must have gotten about 35 years ago for my en suite bathroom that just gave up the ghost a few weeks ago. I found this one (there are not many and some are remarkably expensive!). This is very well priced and built and works wonderfully! (I had not really cared if it was silent but it is TOTALLY! I have had this Bernhard 10" wall clock for over 6 months and have been very happy with it. The size is perfect for my home office and it runs silent. You hear nothing. Accuracy has been very good, within a few seconds of initial setting of clock. It is light plastic and easily hung with a push pin style thumb tack. It is nothing fancy, but looks nice, accurate, silent and easy to hang. Can't ask for much else. Highly recommend. Read more

Quiet and easy to read. I was replacing a broken clock and was looking for a battery operated clock that would not have an annoying seconds hand that ticked and made noise. This is quiet, seems very durable, and was a great price. It is a good size and seems to keep time wonderfully (meaning not loosing a minute here or there.) So it is accurate and functional. As described. This product performs its function as a basic analog clock with an easy view. It lives above the closet in the bathroom. It replaces a similar one that lasted over a decade. It looks like and is a a plastic clock. One may not want it in their living room. In the bath it blends in with the light colored walls.
