This dress drapes beautifully. The fabric is soft, flowy and flattering. With the slight stretch, it's body hugging yet forgiving. The lines are cut in a very flattering way & the back zip assures easy on/off & great fit. The seams are well sewn, and quality of fabric feels luxurious & just fight thickness for velour. Absolutely gorgeous, I was so nervous to order this dress, as I'm pretty busy,.... I would normally take a xl, but, I followed the size guide, and ordered ann xxl. Absolutely perfect fit, it is like it was designed for me!! Sleeves usually are too long, but, they're perfect. I'll be wearing it for a Western Christmas Theme Party, that I was hired to teach LineDance to. **I'm pairing the Deep Wine color dress with Black Cowboy Boots, Black Cowboy Hat, and Silver Choncho Chain Belt (Amazon). Wore this for a Fiona cosplay. Got a ton of compliments. This dress is extremely flattering and comfortable. The emerald green velvet is exactly as pictured and vibrant. Fabric is opaque, so you don't need to wear a slip or underskirt unless you want to. It is a little big on me at the waist, so I made a basque-style removable belt for it out of gold lace ribbon. The fabric is also polyester, so I also wore it with a cotton underlayer and underarm pads because I have hyperhidrosis in my armpits, and synthetic fabrics seem to cause bad smells. This dress is something you can wear for many occasions; it'd be great for Christmas parties or having family photos taken. The quality and silhouette is excellent.
