I bought this when my pup was 6 months old and bought 2 more when he out-grew that first one. First of all, I love the look - and that it's got padded comfort. It's pretty darned sturdy and just so so easy to get into my squirmy pup. I hate harnesses that have to go over the head, but this is a step into event (although I confess that I sit my pup on my lap and slip it on that way.) Lining is VERY soft - like I wish I had a blanket made from it, but the structure is very sturdy and not stretchy whatsoever so I firmly believe this will last a long long time. This fits my miniature poodle perfectly. His chest measures 16" exactly, but his deep chest/ribs (the distance from where his collar's tags would dangle, straight down to his underside to the line of where you'd take chest measurements, if that makes sense?) cause a lot of issues when trying to find a well-fitting harness.
