When we got our Sheltie puppy at 8 weeks, I originally got the corduroy Voyager vest, which was so cute and seemed comfortable for her and so easy to put on. But when she outgrew it, the weather was too hot for that heavier/plush one. I tried a couple other strappy harnesses, but this step-in version is so much easier to put on (though I have missed a leg in the right place a time or two.) It is very sturdy. I wish the Velcro wasn't so noisy when taking it off, but she got used to that sound. We keep it on her most of the day since as a pup, she's in and out a lot. The two metal rings at the top click a lot and we joke they sound like she is playing the castanets. I wish it was a little lighter, now that it is so hot, but we need to keep her in a harness still, especially when we meet up with people and other dogs outside. I have a bunch of leashes, but I decided to get the combo and I really like the leash that comes with it. The handle loop is padded, making it much more comfortable to hold all the time, and it is very sturdy. I was thrown by the photo and thought I was getting the poop bag holder, too, when I ordered the combo. But when it arrive I read the listing and saw that the bag was separate and an additional $10. This is a really well-0made product - it's simple to put on the dog (cat), and fits well. Very pleased! I did reorder a smaller size, so... On the other hand, the included leash is not suitable at all for a tiny dog (chihuahua), and would be fine for a corgi! It's too wide and heavy, and I'll donate it to a rescue!
