I ordered the XXS for my 10 week old miniature poodle. It was ridiculously easy to put on. I held it out & my husband came over & dropped her legs right in. It velcros around the body, which feels nice & secure AND then it clips to keep it closed without question. I liked that it was nice & soft because our puppy is just so small right now. I also didn't want to pay very much when I know she's going to grow quickly and I won't be able to use it for long. She wore it around our living room for about 10 minutes & after awhile, she was able to get her teeth into the front of it. She won't be wearing it around the house, so hopefully when she's out & about, she'll be too focused on the sights & won't try to chew a hole in it. If I left it on around the house, I might wonder if she could rip a hole in it. I have no desire to have her wear it at home though. Great purchase for a small, young puppy! Read more

I bought the XXS size for my chihuahua. She weighs 5.2 lbs and it fits very well. The harness is soft and secure. I like that there is a Velcro closure as well as a clasp/buckle. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is because the clasp/buckle is too bulky. When my dog walks, the d-rings hit the big clasp/buckle and make a loud clicking noise. Very good quality harness and I absolutely love it. I prefer not to use just a collar with my dog since he’s very active, and this harness gives me much better control without putting any strain on his neck. I love this harness. I just wish they made it in one size larger than the largest size they currently offer. My dog was a puppy when I purchased it and has grown so much it's really snug on her now. It's so easy to put on her and I love the security of the harness. It has a Velcro strip then it has a buckle clip then it has 2 large O rings that you clip the leash through. Their is no way my dog can get out of this harness until I choose to take it off her. It's light weight, soft and breathable. Please make it in one more size larger for larger dogs.
