We bought my son the Bezgar 1 truck for Christmas. He had wanted a quality RC truck for quite some time, but not knowing if it would be a passing phase I didn't want to drop several hundred bucks if he would get bored with it. I read all the reviews and decided to roll the dice and am I ever glad that I did. The whole family has had so much fun that I decided we needed a second truck, mostly because I was tired of waiting for my turn. When I saw this new Bezgar 7 truck, it was just what I was looking for. I don't need a big truck like my son's (his is the older 1:10 version) and you can't beat the price. This is a fantastic way to get into what is typically a very expensive hobby at the fraction of the cost. And these trucks truly are hobby grade. Well built, very durable (with replaceable parts in case anything ever does break), and most importantly FAST. I was worried that the smaller truck wouldn't be as fast but I had nothing to worry about. The controller has a speed adjustment so you can slow it down for beginners My son, 12, ran it at a slower speed for the first ten minutes to get the feel for it, but has been running it full throttle ever since. A neighbor down the street also bought his kids RC trucks for Christmas, and his (4-5 times more expensive) trucks have nothing on these guys. Battery life is fantastic, better than advertised. Even over mixed terrain (dirt, grass, lots of snow) I expected to get 15-20 minutes per charge but it is more like 40. One thing to be careful of is that the plastic shells will become brittle in the cold, this is in no way the fault of the manufacturer or the product, this would happen to any RC car or any plastic for that matter. It's just science (ask anyone who drives a soft-top jeep in the winter). My son did manage to crack the body on one of the trucks after flipping it several times on a particularly cold day (cold enough there is probably a warning somewhere in the documentation). That was totally our own fault. And even so, it is barely even noticeable. Bezgar support has been fantastic to work with. I did not have any issues, but when I contacted them for warranty registration they let me pick spare parts that they sent, I chose extra batteries, because you can never have too many batteries. I will update if anything changes but at this time I am extremely satisfied with the performance and value of both trucks as well as with Bezgar. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another vehicle from them in the future Read more

At a recent birthday party my 8 year old son got to play with a hobbyist RC car at the park. He wasn't that good controlling it but I could see he was having fun kicking up dust and terrorizing the squirrels. I wanted to get him his own RC car but didn't know what to get him with so many choices available. I was originally thinking to get him a Losi or Traxxas but but they were a bit more expensive and if it turned out he didn't like that much, it would be an expensive dust collector. People suggest you get a well known brand in case a part breaks so you could by replacements. You'll also be able to find more customizable parts to personalize the car. I did a lot of research regarding the Bezgar lineup by reading a lot of reviews and also watching a lot of youtube videos. I narrowed my decision down to the Bezgar 7. Its a newer model (at least when I purchased it) and like other Bezgar cars, they have some parts in case something breaks. One thing to note is that there seems to be one company making this car under several different brands. They come with different looking bodies and accessories, but the main car is the same. I went with Bezgar since many people commented on warranty and service. Inside the box there's a warranty card where you can register your car and and actual person responds. So here are the pros and cons about this car. PROS: - The price is perfect for an entry level hobbyist car. I paid $96 for the car and 2 additional batteries. - I driven this car with my son for the past few weeks and it's quite durable. The body and chassis has multiple scratches from crashes and flips, but nothing has broken so far. - The remote has a throttle control knob that lets you set the maximum speed of the car. This is great since the top speed is to fast for my son to control and we've been playing with the car with the knob only turned about 1/3 of the max. This leaves a lot of room to improve as his skill gets better. - I really like the 1:16 size of the car. It's about 10 inches long and takes up minimal space in the trunk. - The car comes with a USB charger for the batteries. It works and it simple enough my son can use it. - I'm quite impressed with the performance of the car. I cranked it up to full speed and it goes fast. - The battery life for such a small battery was pretty good. I got about 20-25 minutes of playing time from each battery. CONS: - Although nothing has broke, I wish there were a few more metal parts on the car. - The car comes with regular spring shocks and it's a little bouncy. Oil filled shocks are sold for this car at a reasonable price. - The controller feels a bit cheap, but it works and I guess that's how the price of the car stays low. - The included battery is only 700mAh while the extra batteries are 1000mAh. I wish they just include a 1000mAh battery to keep things consistant. I'd definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for an inexpensive option to get into the hobby. I'm planning on getting a second one soon so I can race with my son, but for now it's more practice for both of us and just timed races around our driveway. I'd like to add that I was a bit hesitant to see so many positive reviews. My initial thought was there were a lot of fake reviews but I now believe this is just a great product and most of the reviews are real. Lastly I want to say that I purchased this car with my own hard earned cash and this is a genuine review. Read more

I’ve had this car for over a year now. And put it through so much and it still works! Very good purchase. My five-year-old and three year-old even play with it and they are not gentle with it. This car goes in the grass, dirt, snow etc. It’s freaking fun! Read more

I have several hobby grade R/C vehicles and wanted to give my nephews a chance to try it out for themselves with a low risk but higher performance option. They arrived well packaged with everything shown. The lipo batteries have standard t-plug connectors and are cylinder style batteries which tend to be a bit more resilient than soft/pad batteries (although a fire retardant case is included). Batteries charged up in about 2 hrs with a phone USB charger. Speed is great for a brushed setup and more than enough for kids. Power is good and it tooled around some shorter winter grass pretty easily. The only con I have is that the speed knob did not make a ton of difference in speed. Other than that - it worked great. UPDATE: I reduced a star because I found a strange binding issue in the left rear suspension. It appears to be due the rear diff cup rubbing the dogbone but I have not yet been able to fully remedy it. Read more

Exactly as described. Bought for a 12 year old boy and he loves it. Good speed and performance. Comes with extra body, pins, and battery. It's on the smaller side, which is OK for hobby use. Control is easy for him to use. Overall, a good purchase. Read more
