Quality Stainless Steel fasteners! Fits Most automobile license plate screw / bolt threads. The Tamperproof heads add extra security versus traditional Phillips head & Flat head fasteners. Works great, I had to repair existing holes in front license plate holder on 2022 Tahoe and 2024 trail boss. Screws threads are not the same size as factory. Ease of installation: Removed old keeper Looks great: Caps for screw heads are snap on. Read more

I purchased these to install on my Corvette as a theft deterrent. Car thieves are probably better prepared than I can imagine however the license plates are not going to be swapped out by using a standard blade type, torx or Phillips screwdriver. I’m not naive, but this might be an inexpensive way to make thieves go somewhere else. In addition, they are polished Stainless steel with screw head covers and they installed into the OEM license plate brackets without any modifications. Read more
All I can really type is the kit IS AS ADVERTISED and the PRICE IS RIGHT. If I have to give a "negative" it's that the screw DIAMETER is "a scrooch smaller" than the screws it replaced - IOW, they aren't as "tight" in the nylon inserts that held the original screws. Of course, I DID NOT "replace" the original nylon nuts with the kit-supplied ones, so it remains to be be seen how well these screws stay in the "old" nuts. With that typed, the "chrome" caps attach VERY SECURELY to their "keepers" and, IMO, look very nice next to a "silver" frame. The screw heads are 100% covered by the caps and, although I haven't tried to remove the caps, they seem to be very secure on their "keepers". All in all, I'm very pleased overall with this kit and I do ** RECOMMEND ** this kit for securing license plates (with or without "frames") to vehicles. Read more
