BGSD Women Leah Waterproof Hooded Mid Length Trench Coat

This coat arrived yesterday about one week earlier than expected! I couldn't wait for it to arrive. I could not find a trench coat for sale anywhere near my home. I leave for Europe soon for a 30-day trip, and I purchased this trench to take with me as I will be doing a lot of walking, and some areas are still on the cool side and rainy. This coat met all of my expectations! I ordered a M. I usually wear anywhere from a 6 - 8 depending on the cut and designer. The M was a perfect fit with enough room for layers. The arm length was long enough to cover just below my wrist. The color is a perfect tan. It is very well made. Completely lined. There are a lot of purposeful buttons, and it has a long belt that you can tie instead of buckle if you prefer. The hood is functionable and detachable. The heaviness of this coat, I would say, is medium -- not too heavy and not too light. It arrived in a small box. When I took it out, no wrinkles! This means this coat will travel well. Very pleased with this trenchcoat for the price! It does not look cheap, and has a nice, classic look. The color is definitely a medium tan with black buttons. I usually wear an XS or size 2 or 4 and I thought it fit perfectly. It might not fit over a really bulky sweater in the sleeves, but I bought this as a lighter weight early spring jacket for Texas rainy weather so really didn't need that for this coat. I love how the jacket can be button up for a full double-breasted look, or have the collar folded down, as well as the versatility of the snap off hood. Read more

This coat is great. A lovely crimson color. The buttons are sewn on tight so I’m not worried about them popping off. Makes every outfit more elegant. For reference I’m 5’6” and 150 lbs. I bought a Medium and it fits just right with room for a thin sweater underneath. Probably could even do a thicker sweater but I haven’t had it long enough to try yet. This is a great coat, I'm 5'6", 153 lbs and the large fits well, a little tight through the shoulders, but this is often the case for me. The fabric is a medium weight and has a nice flow to it, does not seem stiff or make that rustling sound that many trench coats make and I find irritating. The hood is just right and can be taken off, a good feature. The buttons are sewn on well, and add a upscale fashionable touch, the length is good, not too short or too long. This coat does not look frumpy or stiff and is flattering and forgiving to one's figure. Very happy with this purchase and looking forward to a little rain here in California. Read more

Has an elegant polished look. A bit big on my frame for a size medium but atleast a sweater can fit under. You need it since the jacket is not very warm. Fine by me though...I wanted an early fall/spring trench. Overall I am pleased. Read more

I bought a small and It fits as expected and over layers of clothing! I just got this today and like I said, it is nicer than I expected it to be for the price! This is more than I anticipated I would be getting, to use to shield my work clothes from the WA state weather. The only thing I would like more about the product would be added warmth. Other than that, I love the look, cut and mobility/flexibility or movement I have; and the ability to wear layers if needed (which I will). Thank you, Love it; on the look out for additional colors! I frantically ordered this before leaving for two weeks in Europe. Temps were mostly 40-50s F and this was perfect. For the few days in the 30s, I layered underneath; again, perfect! The trench looked amazing right out of the packaging (because I certainly didn't leave myself enough time to iron!). The fabric is sturdy and great body to it. The buttons were a fantastic style detail as well as very functional for buttoning up as high as I needed to keep the wind out. It rained almost every day so I used the hood a lot, but it's nice that it zips off if you prefer. But it lays nicely and doesn't get in the way when not needed, so I'll probably just always leave it zipped on. My only complaint is that it flares out a bit more than I would like in the 'skirt' area. I would prefer a little straighter, more tailored look instead of the extra fabric 'skirt'. But I'm also not super curvy, so that could just be me. I'm not familiar with the brand, I literally was trying to find anything that would fit me and arrive in time, but I feel like I hit the jackpot and would definitely purchase this brand again!
