These are standard ballpoint pens, but colorful! Usually multicolor pens suck because of low quality, but these bic ones are great! I’ve been using it for a while and none of the colors have run out of ink. Each of the colors are vibrant, but my favorite is the pink. Awesome pens, smooth writing and coloring for standard ballpoint pens. As the package says,10 colors, but they could have 12 if they didn't duplicate colors such as pink and purple. But only one of each would need be replaced with brown, and the other with tan, to bring the choices to 12 colors. Read more

I find it useful being able to take notes in multiple colors. I’m a repeat buyer who has used these for several years.
