I've had this lighter for almost 3 years.. yes, 3 years! I only use it for lighting candles, on average about twice a week. Today I noticed that it is running low on fuel - there is a little window on the base showing the fluid level- so I came on here to see about replacing it. The price here is very high, currently at $8.99. I did a little research and found that they sell it at Walmart for around $2.00. Needless to say, I'm going to Walmart later, lol. Anyhow, I thought I'd share my thoughts on the product while I'm here. Of all the lighters I've owned in the last decade, I like this one the most. The mechanism is easy to work- but not easy for a child. You have to hold a release button down with your thumb while you click the trigger with your finger. It lights on the first try almost every time. The overall length is 11.5 inches. The handle is 7 inches, and the neck is 4.5 inches. It reaches easily into tall jar candles even when they're very low on wax. Its length would also make it easier when lighting a fire in the wood stove, fireplace, or grill. It has a fold away hook on the end, so it can be hung up. All in all, this is a reliable, convenient, nifty product, and I will be buying it again! Read more
