I had to wait a while for this to come back in stock but it was worth it. This little clock is really lovely. Good workmanship, well-packaged. My photos are not the best since it shows the green as white in some places, but that's just my poor camera. The top round portion is a uniform green and the base is yellow. It looks wonderful on my mantelpiece. I could not be more pleased. It would make an excellent gift for the cat lover in your life. The light is electric, you just plug it in after installing the included bulb. The clock requires a AA battery, which you will have to supply separately. I could not be happier with this piece. I see they now offer a pink one which I'm considering getting for my bedroom. Update: I got the pink one too. It is so beautiful! It's a smooth rose pink with a lavender-purple base. My phone camera isn't the best and it looks peach in my photo, but the pink is actually very true to the product page photo. I just could not be any happier with this lovely work of art. Read more

Love this so much I ordered two more for gifts! I did change out the bulb to put in a lower wattage as wanted an accent piece versus an actual lamp. Really incredibly beautiful, very much worth the price! Read more

I picked this up as a desk trinket. Surprised with the high quality, it really looks like a Tiffany for half what I might pay for one. It has a soft glow though, like a night light. Don't think this will be bright in your space. It also might be too heavy for some brittle shelves. It works as described, accurate clock and pretty stained glass glow. Read more
