I am 5 foot 5 inches tall, 165 lbs with a 30 inch inseam and a 35 inch waist. I bought these Retro black with white stripes gym pants in two sizes - medium and large, to choose the right size and send the other one back. I kept them both. The medium fits me well with slight puddling of the pant legs at my shoes. The waist is good with plenty of stretch to comfortably expand or contract if needed. The large is just a bit looser all around and has just a little more puddling at the shoes, which is fine with me, and still fits well. Even the waist is comfortably snug enough for me with the large size. There is a drawstring in case you need to tighten it up. The martial is thin and is not as thick as typical fleece type sweatpants. The 80% cotton makes it soft and the 20% polyester gives it durability & structure. If you are wearing light or bright colored underwear, in certain light you may be able to see the underwear color through these gym pants because of the weave of the fabric. The drawstrings have hard rounded finished tips. The legs narrow at the feet but they don't have elastic cuffs leaving room to move as you move. These gym pants are well made. I was skeptical when on my search for the ultimate old school gym pant, you know, the ones that the legends wore. For years I have worn name brand joggers because that’s the hip thing to do. Well after searching, I have found the ultimate gym pant, these are them. They are breathable, look amazing, loose for range of motion and give the gym that old school vibe that does not exist anymore, or at least is hard to find. I will absolutely be replacing nearly all of my old torn up tight restrictive joggers for these. I would recommend these to anybody. Read more
